# Fail2ban and Pritunl

Hi, I am new to Pritunl and I have to say it has been one of the most straight forward experiences I have had.

I have two questions and I would appreciate any feedback.

1- I would like to protect the Pritunl login page using file2ban. Could you please mention which rule should I activate in the jail config file of fail2ban?

2- I have an external firewall. I have opened the ports which I defined for OVPN and WG. Is there anything else that I should pay attention?

There isn’t any support to integrate fail2ban, the login already has rate limiting. The [**security documentation**](https://docs.pritunl.com/kb/vpn/security/securing-pritunl) has more information on securing the server. Using a RHEL distribution with SELinux and enabling the systemd web server mode will help secure the web server.
