# Pritunl Zero Upgrading Ubuntu OS

Hi @zach

I have zero trust pritunl installation at Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal) which is For Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, this support will last until 31 May 2025

I need to upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble)  
what is the best way to upgrade to upgrade the OS?

I try blue/green upgrade, i deploy green environment, restore database from existing instance, some configuration is not restored, like subscription, certificate,etc  
when i restore the mongo database i have notice that 1 document failed to restore.  
2025-04-08T06:41:46.901+0000 7983736 document(s) restored successfully. 1 document(s) failed to restore

Run it with `--verbose` to see what document is failing to restore.
