# Resolving servers internally

I have a server that I want to resolve internally, say the internal IP of it is 10.55.55.2, and I want to resolve it to a domain.
Do I need the Enterprise plan for the DNS mapping and DNS forwarding?

Neither of those features will do that. The client DNS mapping resolves VPN users in the format `user.org.vpn`, the DNS forwarding sends subdomain requests of that domain to another DNS server.
Any DNS provider can be used to register a domain to resolve internal IP addresses.

Oh ok, wasn’t sure what those features were for, but that does make sense to what they are actually called.
So I’ve set up a DNS server and changed the DNS option in the server in Pritunl, but none of the clients are using it from what I can tell.
