# Users profile getting disabled from pritunl console automatically

number of pritunl users profiles are getting disabled automatically from my pritunl vpn console. I’ve checked the logs but only shows the reason that a user is unable to connect as it fail to authenticate them. while checking the console , it is observed that these user profiles are disabled and that happened automatically. I’m not sure how their profiles got disabled , once i enable the profile , they are able to reconnect and use. can someone please explain me how to debug this and how this happened in the first place ?

If the server has a subscription the [**audit journal**](https://docs.pritunl.com/docs/auditing#journal-audit) will log how the user was disabled.

audit logs were disabled earlier so I’m not able to see this activity logged in logs. I have enabled them now …shall monitor the logs from now onwards.
