We are in the staging phase of deploying pritunl, and are therefore testing for functionality. One issue that I found was that the wireguard client on windows, doesn’t seem to apply the correct search domain for DNS. This results in us having to use fully qualified domain names for lookups. A colleague of mine tested it on MacOS, and didn’t seem to have the same issue. So this might be a Windows specific thing. Windows 11 + Client 1.3.4099.99. If this is a cofiguration error, we would apreciate a hint as to where to look. But we suspect it might be a Windows+Wireguard bug. Thanks! ---

Currently search domains with WireGuard are not supported on Windows. ---

Thanks for the quick reply! Are there plans to introduce this? Since search domains can be speced in the wireguard-config (reference [Wireguard Search Domain – rakhesh.com](https://rakhesh.com/linux-bsd/wireguard-search-domain/)). Maybe this could be added in a future release? ---

Hi, I am having the same issue under Linux (KDE neon 6.3 / Ubuntu 24.04) Pritunl Client v1.3.4210.52 When connecting with wireguard, DNS search domain is empty. Cheers, ---

This has been added to the repository to append the search domains to the DNS list and will be included in the next release. ---

This is now available in the [**Pritunl Client v1.3.4220.57**](https://github.com/pritunl/pritunl-client-electron/releases/tag/1.3.4220.57) release. ---
