About IP Assignment

Hi,

I would like to ask if there is a plan in Pritunl roadmap to implement a different IP assignment behavior at some point, in a way more similar to what we can expect from a DHCP server i.e. with lease time for instance.

Also, if I may ask out of curiosity, why is it not implemented in this way? Is there a specific design choice, purpose, benefit or technical constraint behind it please?

Currently there isn’t any plans on changing the user IP address management. The implementation was done to support predictable static IP addresses for users that would not change.
