Azure SSO-Status Authenticating in Pritunl Client

It was configured according to the documentation to log in to VPN via Azure, it redirects to the Microsoft page, successful login and redirect to the pritunl web portal occurs, where it is indicated that “Successfully authenticated connection” but at the same time in the client itself “Status Authenticating” remains and after a while the error “Connection Lost Authentication required to reconnect” appears. How can this be fixed? What could be the problem?

  • There is no domain on the pritunl server, only an IP address, which was used for the Homepage URL (Azure) and “Connection Single Sign-On Domain” (pritunl)
  • Without using authorization through Microsoft, the user connects to the server

I solved this problem.
If anyone encountered the same problem, do 3 steps:

  1. Add a domain for pritunl and Azure, SSL certificate via the admin panel.
  2. Set synchronization to the NTP (Network Time Protocol) server, there is an instruction in the documentation.
  3. Restart the server.
    After that, it worked, I don’t know what exactly helped.
