[Feature Request] Disable client update notification

Hi @zach,
I’d love to have an option in the client to disable automatically checking/notifying users that an update is available. Our end users do not have admin on their workstations and we push Pritunl client installs and updates through PDQ and Intune. Our users are getting confused on what to do when they see the update notification, even though we’ve told them to ignore it.

I agree 100%. It is confusing to the end users. We use a 3rd party software for some software deployments and the repository is always in the rears on Pritunl updates, so to the end-users it looks like they are always out of date.

I would love to be able to turn his upgrade notification off.

This may be added in the future. All updates don’t trigger the notification, the alert is typically only activated for more major changes to avoid excessive alerts from the more frequent small updates.
