How to resolve pritunl api showing devices not connected when the pritunl gui says otherwise

Hey again @zach. I have 2 questions for you:

  1. We have a server that is for high bandwidth usage (i.e. vpn server for cameras). They use a lot of bandwidth and we have been able to scale it out with memory intensive servers. However, I wanted clarification on the load balancing. Is it possible to load balance the devices on bandwidth, or is this already doing it where it equally moves the connections between the servers?
  2. There have been rare situations where we use Pritunl API to communicate to our server where a device shows not connected in the Pritunl GUI but when I ssh to the device it has a connection already on pritunl-client. Why does this occur?

With a multi host configuration the replication count can be increased in the server settings. Clients will automatically randomly select a host when connecting. This requires an enterprise subscription.

It’s possible the connection is active but not connected on the client. Verify if the connection is actually working.
