IP change for app.pritunl.com

This weekend an attempt was made to upgrade the load balancer for the app.pritunl.com and auth.pritunl.com servers. Oracle Cloud does not allow removing a reserved IP from a load balancer. The DNS entries were temporarily updated to a temporary address and after some time the old load balancer was removed to free the reserved IP. Removing the load balancer resulted in the reserved IP address being lost and it could not be recovered. Users who had static entries or firewall rules for the previous IP will need to update these to the new IP 129.213.65.110.

Hi! Is there a way to get that kind of information more proactively then checking for a new posts in forum? I joined the mailing list as described in Securing Pritunl, but maybe there is another mailing list I need to be aware of? Or maybe some hints for signing up to be notified of specific posts in forum?

There is the Twitter and Bluesky for most announcements. Less important announcements are only on the forums.

It is not necessary to monitor any security related notifications for the software. There is a self shutdown system that checks the servers version for security issues every hour. If a security issue is found all effected versions will automatically shutdown the vulnerable components within one hour.
