As far as I understood the default behavior is to assign all users logged in to the server at least once (via SSO in my case) a fixed IP address from the pool on all Servers they are allowed to use (group filters), even if they are not connecting to it.
Is there a way to disable this behavior and always assign IP from the pool dynamically on the connect attempt?
We do have some Server instances that will be rarely used.
Also there are potentially thousand users behind SSO who can login once per year.
It feels unnecessary to reserve huge IP pools just for assigning static IPs for everyone without the connectivity needs.
Hi,
Just to be sure I get this right, if we have 10k employees, all likely to connect at one time or another - but we know there will never be more than 100 actively connected at any time - we anyway have no choice but to plan for an IP range to accommodate 10k IPs or?
Thanks
Yes the virtual network should be large enough for all the users attached. It will still run if there isn’t enough space but it can cause connection errors.
