OpenVPN client with Wireguard authentication on Android

Hello,
I read a previous discussion from 2022 and also 2023 regarding WireGuard authentication compatibility with Pritunl on Android. Recently, I’ve enabled WireGuard authentication on my own server from Pritunl dashboard. I could connect successfully using Pritunl clients on Windows and Linux.

Are there any updates on whether Pritunl Android app wi be released, or if there’s an integration or workaround available that allows WireGuard connections through OpenVPN-based apps? Any updates on alternative approaches for Android users who prefer using WireGuard would also be appreciated.

It’s possible there will be a mobile client in the future but there’s currently no plans on developing one. The custom connection and authentication code for Pritunl WireGaurd connections will not work in any other client.
