Pritunl client is not registering pritunl:// in Mac / Win

Hello,

Main idea is that we supply link to end user pritunl://url-to-profile and pritunl client on Mac / win picks up this link and starts pritunl client. But installing clients on Mac or Win, effect is the same, typing pritunl:// in Web browsers, command line , explorer - nothing happens, web browsers redirects to search engines, command line says not found.
Clients installed from official sources, we run, machines were rebooted. Uninstalled, reinstalled more than once.
Is there missing something , as “The URL from Pritunl will only work with the Pritunl Client available on macOS, Windows and Linux.” ? Any steps we are missing?

This is intentional the URI should be copied into the client. Registering the URI handler would increase the possibility of security vulnerabilities.
