I am wondering if the pritunl client is meant to have notifications?
Our users are asking how to enable notifications when the VPN disconnects, I see the icon changes colour but I have personally sat for 1-2 mins wondering why I cant get onto a server not realising the vpn disconnected
I am testing on Mac at the moment , most of my users are also on Mac.

We disable auto reconnect as we use radius with 2fa code added onto password so autoconnect would never work and just locks our accounts out
It is a planned feature for a future release but currently there are no notifications. If the Pritunl Authentication Cache option is enabled in the top right settings auto re-connection should work with all connection modes. This authentication token is stored only in the memory of the client background service, it wonât get stored on disk or remain after a restart. There shouldnât be any security concerns with the authentication cache. If you still want multi-factor authentication for every connection device authentication is a much better option.
If pritunl disconnects while I am working, its normally due to the User Session Timeout we have set for regulatory reasons.
I donât think the cache feature would pass our audits, every new âconnectionâ needs to be authenticated by 2fa (someone steals your laptop, etc)
