Pritunl Client v1.3.4375.96 has been released. An option to reset the Apple Secure Enclave has been added to the top right menu. This release also fixes a race condition that would cause the background service to crash. Typically this would only occur with multiple concurrent VPN connections.
Apple Reset Secure Enclave
The reset Secure Enclave will recreate the device authentication key on the Secure Enclave. This can correct issues with device authentication that may occur with system upgrades or configuration changes. After the Secure Enclave is reset, the device authentication will need to be approved by an administrator from the Pritunl server web console.
Background Service Race Condition
This issue primarily only occurs when there are multiple concurrent VPN connections. Although it is possible for it to occur with one profile. On macOS this would mostly go unnoticed as the service is configured to automatically restart. It may break future connections or DNS configurations if the crash occurs before the DNS can be restored after a disconnection. On Windows it would result in the failed to communicate with background service error.
