Pritunl-link single host connection and vpn clients

Working on understanding pritunl-links and how they might be used in a couple scenarios.

Can link be used for a single host setup that connects to a vpn server?
e.g. on-prem server with pritunl-link → printunl vpn server

When establishing links how to we related the link to a vpn server?

When using links between multiple locations ( site-to-site ) how do we relate that to a vpn server and allow access to vpn clients?

The Pritunl server does not function as a link client. The Pritunl server will only manage the state of the link. Each link must have at least two locations and at least one host in each location. The hosts must be running pritunl-link and should be separate hosts from any host running a Pritunl server.
