Pritunl v1.32.4349.59 has been released. This release fixes issues with Google single sign-on connection timeouts. This can occur due to rate limiting from the Google Workspace API.
Is there a way to prevent the Pritunl client from displaying the ‘update available’ notice? I get a dozen tickets about it every time there’s a new version, and I don’t need that. Enterprise users, don’t have rights to manage their own updates anyway, there’s no point in informing the end user. Would make more sense to provide notice of new version to to the Enterprise administrators.
Currently there’s no option to disable the update notice but it does not allow the application to be updated in place. The installer needs to be downloaded and run again to update the client.
I’m not worried about the update process, the issue is alerting users to something they have no ability or authority to address. Its a needless alert that causes a distraction.
