Pritunl web service is crashing after initial setup

i tried it for different flavors of linux. Ubuntu, Rhel, Oracle. All the same result.
Im just following the installation guide basically copy and pasting the commands. I get up to the initial setup where i set the new admin password and click save. Pritunl web service will crash right after.

What am i missing?

This is likely caused by some other software using the web ports, run sudo netstat -tulpn.

I checked that and there are no other services running on the required ports.

Check /var/log/pritunl.log for errors.
