Problems getting a public IP address on my instances

Hello so I have been trying to get pritunl cloud working for about a week now. Version 1.2.2415.36
What I have done is installed ubuntu 22.04 on a supermicro dual zeon with 1x 160gb ssd and 4x 3tb SAS drives in a software raid 5 (1 hot spare) mounted on /var

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 4.8G 1.6M 4.8G 1% /run
/dev/mapper/ubuntu–vg-ubuntu–lv 144G 12G 126G 9% /
tmpfs 24G 0 24G 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 24G 0 24G 0% /run/qemu
/dev/sda2 2.0G 219M 1.6G 12% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg0-lv–0 5.5T 4.4G 5.2T 1% /var
tmpfs 4.8G 0 4.8G 0% /run/user/1000

so mongodb no matter how much I try to make it work it does not want to. So I put turnkeylinux mongodb on my proxmox server(problem because I want to dump proxmox) and then I was able to setup pritunl cloud.

However, following the optional step: Configure Bridge interfaces, I can not get a public IP for any of my instances.
I have my instance of pritunl cloud behind a pfsense firewall and would like to allow pfsense to assign the IP address for my public address for the instances.
could someone point me in the right direction please.

thanks
Will

So the Optional Configure Bridge interface does not seem to work for ubuntu 22.04.
going to try with OL 8.6, I really would like to use ubuntu.
So the whole part about creating a Bridge interface does not work with netplan. so I am hopping the OL 8.6 will fix it. Not a huge fan of OL.
