There’s no issues with the connection management in the service. Select the profile from the menu in the client logs viewer to check for errors. The server output and server logs in the top right of the Pritunl server web console will likely provide better information. Check the MTU commands in the client debugging documentation.
Updating the client will have updated the packaged OpenVPN there are known compability issues with newer clients connecting to older servers. Update the OpenVPN server as documented in Update OpenVPN. Then restart the servers.
Automatic reconnection can be done by enabling Pritunl Client Authentication cache in the top right settings on the server.
I did find the cause for this, an incorrectly handled if statement caused the no reconnect option to always reconnect. This will be fixed in an update either tomorrow or Wednesday.
