Hi @zach
You are currently releasing packages for the following versions of Ubuntu: Bionic, Focal, Jammy and Noble. Do you have any plans for how long you will continue to support older versions of Ubuntu? Bionic is no longer in standard support and Focal will also be soon out of it.
For the Pritunl server and Pritunl Zero it will continue to be available until build issues occur. This would likely be caused by Ubuntu discontinuing either the repository or Docker images that the build system uses. I’m not sure when that will happen. For the Pritunl Client build issues occur much faster and support is removed sooner due to fast changes with the Electron ecosystem.
Thank you very much. So it is probably unlikely that there will be no Focal packages in the near future (as Focal will be supported with Ubuntu Pro until 2030).
Just out of curiosity, what’s the best way to transfer the current config to a new server (running in Azure, so no in-place OS upgrades are supported)?
Thank you - the provided link seems to be for Pritunl only, not for Pritunl Zero. But I think, I get the point: backup the database and restore it on the new server. Install Pritunl Zero and map it to the local MongoDB instance.
