Windows SmartScreen alert on the latest version

Hello,

Starting from this morning, users are notified on an update for Pritunl Client on Windows.
After downloading the new installer, the SmartScreen alert appears on all devices:

Is there a known issue on the latest release ?

After further investigation, it looks to start on release v1.3.3704.98, which was signed using a new certificate. I don’t know why SmartScreen is identifying something suspicious ?

The recent releases use a new EV code signing certificate. It takes time for the certificate to be trusted. I’ve done testing on virtual machines with new install snapshots and don’t see the warning anymore. You may need to apply updates for the certificate database to update. Also Microsoft Edge is no longer showing a warning on recent tests.
