How to Troubleshoot VPN Connection Issues with Pritunl

I have been some trouble with my Pritunl VPN connection lately, and it’s driving me a bit nuts! The connection keeps dropping and then takes forever to reconnect. I’ve tried the usual stuff, restarting the server and my device, but no luck.

Here’s a breakdown of the situation:

  • Issue Description: My VPN connection frequently drops and takes a long time to reconnect. I’ve tried restarting the Pritunl server and my local device, but the problem persists.
  • Configuration Details: I’m using Pritunl version 1.32.0 on a Ubuntu 22.04 server. My client is running on Windows 11 with the latest Pritunl client version.
  • Logs and Error Messages: The logs indicate occasional timeout errors and failed attempts to establish a connection.
[2024-07-22 15:30:12] ERROR: Connection timed out.
[2024-07-22 15:30:45] ERROR: Failed to establish connection after multiple attempts.
